We were pleasantly surprised by the modern decor and cleanliness of Gate Hotel. The breakfast, including delicious croissants filled with pastry cream, was a great way to start the day. The spacious and comfortable rooms, complete with air conditioning, provided a relaxing stay. The hotel's location served as a central hub for our day trips to Florence, Venice, Pisa, and Milan. Despite the minor inconvenience of bird droppings on the car and a musky smell in the room, we found Gate Hotel to be a good value for the money. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for a convenient and reasonably priced stay near Florence.

If you're looking for convenience, this hotel is perfect. It's located right off the highway, making it a great stop for backpackers on the go. it's just a short distance from Florence city center, so you can easily explore all the attractions. The free parking is also a big bonus for those traveling by car. Plus, the rooms have clean linens and the double window system effectively blocks out noise.
The shower in this hotel is a major disappointment. It constantly fluctuates between freezing cold and scalding hot, making it impossible to enjoy a proper shower.
